In eBird I can sort my observed species by which are the newest species I’ve observed that I have never logged previously in eBird. I see this being useful for parsing my person Life List generally and within each Class on the life list. As well it would be nice to have this as a filter option on the Your Observations page. Similarly it would be nice if there was a way to filter results on the Explore page to exclude or include species you’ve already observed.
I know how to answer part of this question… to made a “needs” list and see species you have yet to observe just add “&unobserved_by_user_id=edropkin” to the end of the URL. I wish this was a quicker way to do this, I find myself constantly needing to look up that command.
