Just wanted to chime in that this still keeps happening on 1.0.15. And it’s definitely frustrating - I’ve recently been traveling where strong wifi / cell signal wasn’t readily available and couldn’t reliably do IDs because of the `you are offline` message
Sometimes tapping the message would work, but other times I’d tap the message several times still and it would keep reappearing
I’ve tried it on the PC web uploader with the connection throttled and it’s not an issue - it loads the suggestions seemingly forever (expected on the throttled connection) but ultimately loads and presents them to the user. I think it makes sense to have the same behaviour on the mobile app
If you’re worried about user becoming frustrated, maybe you could display a message after a bit of waiting eg `Your connection seems slow, ID results take longer to load. Tap to view suggestions from the offline model`
